paulmyersThese (upper control arm?) bushes have perished.
Do I just replace these or should I do more while it's in the garage?
Thanks!

padrooIt looks like you need to have the whole suspension inspected and have an itemized list of what needs replaced with a cost of the needed repairs. JMO
paulmyersI'm not going to replace the arms and ship them to Europe for these little bits of rotten rubber.

Does any one know the size, there must be some polyethylene bushes out there that'll fit.

paulmyersWhat happened to this forum? Did everyone retire
padrooAs a matter of fact I am retired.

I thought we gave you all the answers except for you wanting to know about replacing the bushings. I have never heard of anyone doing that. The choices the way I see it is to buy new ones from Brian Richardson (Spoons), replace your old ones with new ones, some people have made covers to go over the outer part to keep dirt out and grease in, and the last choice is leave them alone. I believe there are nylon busing inside and what you are looking at is the badly deteriorated covers. If you remove one you can clean it up and see if there is any play in it. It there isn't you can leave it alone or pack some fresh grease in it and make some kind of a cover.

Here is what the preferred method looks like. installed.

I am going to have to reprimand my wife for not getting those water spots removed in the above picture.
